Belfast heavy metal trio Rabid Bitch Of The North have revealed the first run of live dates in support of their forthcoming new album Nothing But A Bitter Taste, which hits shelves on 18th August 2017 via Hostile Media.
The band are set to bring their style of infectious NWOBHM inspired heavy metal to the following cities:
18/08/17 - Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick - Ireland
19/08/17 - Limelight 2, Belfast - Northern Ireland
28/09/17 - Fuel Club, Cardiff - Wales
29/09/17 - Castlefest, Luton - England
30/09/17 - Hordes Of Belial, Dundee - Scotland
06/05/18 - Sinfest, Paola - Malta
Recently the band released first single, ‘The Missionary’ via iTunes, Deezer, Amazon mp3 and all other major digital platforms as well as streaming on Spotify. Listen to the song right now: https://open.spotify.com/album/5DHxpCqaDRF2hl1DzutLMf
The band explains that motive behind the song was to try and harness the bizarre excitement and feeling heavy metal fans first experience on finding the genre, seeing the first album covers of Maiden’s Eddie or the devilish artwork depicted on Ozzy and Dio records. Frontman Joe McDonnell explains, “It’s a song about the journey of discovering metal, searching out new bands and sounds, and then becoming part of the scene creating your own songs.”
Nothing But A Bitter Taste will be released on a limited edition gatefold 3 panel digipack via Hostile Media on 18th August 2017 as well as digital via iTunes, Spotify, etc. Pre-order HERE!
